How is it done?

No external cut or incision

A Flexible Ureterorenoscope is passed through the urethra → bladder → ureter → kidney

Stone is located and powdered using a laser

A stent may be placed temporarily

Fragments are either removed or pass naturally
Recovery:

Hospital stay: 1 day

Stent removed after 1–2 weeks if placed
